Our Founder

From early childhood in Anchorage, Alaska, witnessing the devastating effects of climate change on her home region and the health impacts in her father’s southern “sacrifice-zone” community, our founder’s path was shaped by acute awareness of environmental injustice.

With 10+ years as a social innovation executive in fashion, technology, culture and sustainable ecosystems, she moved to align her professional experience with her personal mission challenging the status‐quo, leveraging emerging tech (AI, blockchain, XR) and building inclusive platforms for climate, circularity and cultural leadership.

Now, through HBCU Climate Venture, she brings it full circle, mobilizing historically Black college and university networks, diaspora links, climate-tech innovation and venture capital into a unified engine of change.
